Following on from the success of our last travel writing competition we are pleased to announce our brand new competition with the theme of “Reinvention” to herald the imminent improvement and relaunch of the Go Walkabout website, aiming to make the process of buying travel insurance from us even simpler and more straight-forward, whilst maintaining our core values of unique products, great value for money and outstanding customer service.

The travel writing competition is open to anyone over the age of 18, and you are invited to submit a piece of writing of up to 500 words, on the theme of “Reinvention” – you could choose to write about a location or activity that is undergoing a transformation or change of identity, or a travel experience that reinvented the way you think about travelling or that prompted a personal metamorphosis.  It’s also a bonus if you can submit a photo to accompany your article, but not compulsory.

You could have travelled abroad or somewhere in the UK – it doesn’t matter, just submit your piece of writing, as well as a photo if you’d like, and if it is chosen as one of the top 3 entries by the aggregate scores from  our panel of Travel Blogger judges, you will win an awesome prize to reward you for your creativity.
